The Hanoi court sentenced a Vietnamese man to 13 years in prison for murder committed in Russia 15 years ago

Hoang Ngoc Kien moved to the USSR in 1987. There he worked in a factory, and since 1997 he has been living with a Russian woman.

In 2004, the couple hosted guests’ homes, where they had a conflict with one of them. As a result, the Russian man kicked the landlady of the apartment and she fell. Keene tried to give the abuser change and stabbed the guest during the fight.

Shortly afterwards, the Vietnamese man returned to his homeland. But he told the local authorities about the incident only in 2018. Now the convict is 57 years old.
