Cambodian airline Angkor Air to launch a direct flight Phnom Penh Danang in October
Information was confirmed by Cambodian Minister of Tourism Tong Khon at a meeting with Angkor Air CEO on August 23.
He also asked the national Cambodian carrier to improve the quality of service on its flights. And also to consider the possibility of creating direct flights to the most popular resorts in China.
The airline currently operates Siem Reap-Danang, Phnom Penh Siem Reap, Phnom Penh Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh Sihanoukville, Sihanoukville-Beijing, and Sihanoukville-Siem Reap.
Angkor Air is Cambodia’s national airline based in Phnom Penh. 49% of the company is owned by Vietnam Airlines, a Vietnamese airline.
Danang International Airport is recognized as one of the best in Vietnam. In 2018, direct flights to Osaka, Seoul, Doha and Bangkok departed the airport.
