The incredible five-story library is located in the Binhai district in Tianjin, which was developed by the Dutch design firm MVRDV in collaboration with the Tianjin Institute for Urban Planning and Design (TUPDI) and has since received the name “Eye of Binhai”, has 34,000 square meters and can accommodate up to , 2 million books. In just three years of construction, the library has a reading area on the first floor, a recreation area in the middle rooms and offices, meeting rooms and computers / audio systems at the top. If we were there, we would definitely not be engaged in training, but would only look at the amazing architecture.
It turns out that most of these futuristic shelves from floor to ceiling are painted as if they were full of books, but in fact most of the covers in the room are just printed images. These books are stored in other rooms of the building.
