This is a difficult feat, which took over the family business. But this is exactly what Morgan and his two younger brothers did in 2014.
“We promised our father that we would continue his legacy, and renamed the company a tribute to him, even without completely understanding what the essence was.” – said Morgan
Today, the woodworking studio Roger & Sons-Roger was named for his late father, has a team of 21 full-time employees and specializes in custom-made carpentry.
“We decided to focus on carpentry because the people who worked with my father were really good carpenters. Some of them had over 20 years of experience, ”he explains.
Since taking over, the company has not only expanded the number of employees, but also opened a second studio in February, and the new space includes an exhibition hall with a selection of furniture for sale.
He also has his own design team, and it makes sense to interact with members of the public through woodworking workshops.
When Morgan is not busy with business, he can be found playing football (he does it at least once a week) and having a rest at home.
“I spend all my free time with my family,” he says. And no, he does not feel that he sees them too much. “I am pleased to work and see them, because I know that I can always trust them.”
Obviously, Morgan really works a lot. But he admits that his life would have been completely different if he had not been engaged in the family business. “If I didn’t do what I’m doing, I’d just go in for a backpack at work and lead a boho life,” he says. “I’m working a lot now because I work for my family. In addition, I want to use my position to help society. “
