Tickets are already sold in more than 1,800 stores Vinmart +
The total entrance ticket for three days to the event in Hanoi is 1.75 million VND (75 USD), and the Grand Stand ticket is 9.09 million VND (390 USD).
Day tickets are also available online, ranging from 700,000 VND (30 USD) on Friday to 1.4 million (60 USD) on Sunday. VIP tickets for companies are also available, but their prices have not yet been announced.
Vingroup – the country’s largest private company and the main financial sponsor of the race, established the Vietnam Grand Prix last year with a registered capital of 1 trillion VND (43 million USD). Vinmart + is owned by Vingroup VinCommerce.
Work on the racetrack began in March and should be completed within 12 months. The race is scheduled for mid-April 2020, but no dates have yet been announced.
The track with a length of 5.565 km with 23 turns was designed by German companies Tilke and Formula 1 Group. This will be a combination of public roads and part of the My Dinh sports complex in Nam Tu Lien area.
Vietnam will be the third country in Southeast Asia to take the F1 race after Malaysia and Singapore.
