Thailand fell 7 points in the top expat ranking

The Expat Insider study on the world’s best places to live for emigrants found that Thailand has fallen by 7 points

The country is now in 25th place out of 64 destinations. Taiwan took first place, Vietnam second and Portugal third.

In March, InterNations, the world’s largest network of immigrants, consulted with more than 20,000 expats from 182 countries in 187 countries or territories.

Respondents were asked to base their estimates on 48 different factors related to living abroad.

The results were then compared and each destination was assessed on the basis of quality of life, ease of adaptation, work abroad, family life and personal finances.

We also shared what progress Viet Nam has made in achieving second place in the ranking.
