Vietnamese model criticized for too frank outfit in Cannes

Vietnamese model Ngoc Trin caused a strong public reaction, appearing at the Cannes Film Festival in a very revealing black dress

Ngoc Chin arrived at the screening of the film “Radegund” by Terrence Malik in a transparent lace bodice with beadwork and black shoes with stilettos. The British Daily Mail tabloid called the Vietnamese outfit the most daring that night.

In her own country, social network users called Ngoc Trin clothes obscene for such a serious event. Moreover, it is not entirely clear what the model did at all at the festival. She has not starred in any of the films presented.

This was confirmed by the Minister of Culture of Vietnam Nguyen Thai Binh (Nguyen Thai Binh). According to him, the girl did not represent any Vietnamese agencies in Cannes. He also did not approve of the model’s dress:

“This is really undesirable behavior and a ridiculous attempt to attract attention.”
